Are Group and Elisa Corporation have made an agreement to transfer the business operations of Elisa Tele Space Services field operations to Are. The agreement covers Elisa’s building system and electricity services in the Uusimaa region.
At the same time the two companies entered into a four-year service agreement concerning the above services. Both contracts enter into force on February 1, 2007.
In relation to the business operations transfer, 15 employees will be transferred to Are as so called “old employees”. There will be no need to decrease or lay-off personnel in connection with the transfer.
Elisa chose Are as its partner due to Are’s capability to understand its customers’ needs.

With Are’s expertise it is possible to offer cost effective, reliable and customer oriented services to Elisa’s customers. The new personnel will also strengthen our know-how in demanding electricity and Tele Space services”, says Marko Otranen, Business Area Director of Are Group.
