The Raisio Group has chosen Are, Finland’s leading building services company, to provide building services for the Group’s properties. The extensive service agreement includes maintenance and renovation services for the properties of companies belonging to the Raisio Group. The agreement covers four of the Raisio Group’s production facilities and thirteen office buildings in Finland. Are will also have responsibility for instructing and managing building services subcontractors.

“Are now has an opportunity to showcase its strengths in comprehensive property management for a customer like ourselves. I believe that we can achieve good results for both parties through this co-operation. Are’s list of references and the message implicit in its experience and know-how were crucial factors in the contract decision,” says Technical Manager Jari Sankari of the Raisio Group.

Renowned as a front runner in the food and feed industries, the Raisio Group has until now spread its property maintenance tasks among several different service providers. With this agreement, the Group will now concentrate all these services with Are. The quality of the co-operation will be monitored using various mutually agreed indicators, such as customer satisfaction surveys and property maintenance calculations.

“The co-operation agreement signed with the Raisio Group is a very significant one for us. All of the building services systems and equipment, including property maintenance, are now our responsibility,” says Key Account Director Sami Ranta of the Are Group.

Co-operation between Are and the Raisio Group began in January 2009 and has proceeded very smoothly.

“We expect Are to provide expert, competitive and service-oriented co-operation – after all, it has a reputation as an experienced property maintenance and renovation company. We've already launched a number of development projects for which we have great expectations. I’m looking forward to smooth and close co-operation," says Jari Sankari.  

In addition to the parent company, the Raisio Group includes Raisio Feed Ltd, Raisio Malt Ltd and Raisionkaari Industrial Park Ltd.
