Are has invested considerably in enhancing its special expertise in heat tracing. We have developed the ELSET 2100 electronic control unit for heat tracing systems which has received ATEX certification. Thanks to this certificate, industrial heat tracing circuits can be controlled in potentially explosive atmospheres as well.
Our heat tracing products also include the PT100 probe as well as junction boxes and termination seals. The PT100 probe is used as a thermometer in heat tracing control and monitoring systems (e.g. ELSET 2100). The probe measures the temperature of the target (using the resistance measurement principle) and the information is used by the control unit.
