Expertise in Data Center Technology
Constructing data center infrastructure requires specialized expertise, which ARE has developed extensively. Between 2007 and 2025, ARE has successfully delivered numerous data center projects across Finland. These projects have included HVAC, ventilation, electrical systems, UPS, cooling, fire safety, automation, and construction services. ARE currently maintains several operational data centers.
UPS and Backup Power Solutions
In addition to conventional electrical systems, we design, implement, and maintain UPS and backup power systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply in critical environments such as data halls, hospitals, and commercial properties.
Our design services tailor backup power solutions to your specific needs, taking into account the requirements of other building systems such as cooling, power distribution, safety systems, and automation.
ARE has been accepted as a member of the Finnish Data Center Association (FDCA), which promotes the development of Finland’s data center and cloud industry.

Wastewater treatment plant, Blominmäki, Espoo
The modern Blominmäki wastewater treatment plant will handle the wastewater of approximately 400,000 residents in Espoo and the surrounding areas. It will serve as a more efficient replacement for the current Suomenoja wastewater treatment plant, both in terms of purification efficiency and capacity.
The wastewater treatment plant is being commissioned by HSY (Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority), and the project management contractor YIT selected ARE as their partner for the technical project management. ARE has experience in implementing building services in demanding rock space projects. ARE is responsible for the HVAC, sprinkler, electrical, instrumentation, and automation works of the treatment plant.
