Are Group wins major service contract for OP-Pohjola properties

The maintenance contract concerns a significant group of properties located in central Helsinki and the Vallila district. According to Matti Puromäki, Real Estate Manager at Pohjola Property Management Ltd, the maintenance service has to be cost effective. He also highlights two particularly important demands placed on the maintenance service provider: to improve both user satisfaction and energy efficiency.

“Technical maintenance services are extremely important in all these areas. That’s why Are will be a key link for us in meeting the challenges. They will be our experts performing maintenance of the properties, but they will bring improvements too,” says Puromäki.

He also expects Are to be very service-minded. This means smooth cooperation with each property’s service network, the ability to show initiative and operate independently, and a responsible approach.

“Are’s operating methods meet the goals of Pohjola Property Management very well. We feel it is important to have a shared view of the goal-oriented operation and of the need for continuous development,” says Seppo Korhonen.

Are has been responsible for the client’s property at Lapinmäentie in Helsinki for more than ten years already. The agreement now made includes services for the upkeep and maintenance of the external and internal spaces and of the building services for the properties.
