Are to construct electrical systems in SRV’s Ring I in Keilaniemi project

SRV is involved in developing a modern and marine urban environment in Keilaniemi, Espoo and contributing to the Espoo Ring Road I in Keilaniemi project. SRV Infra Oy, which is responsible for the infrastructure projects of the company, is carrying out the project’s street and road construction work, acting as the head contractor in the project. Are is carrying out the electrical works which started in January. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 1.5 million.
In the two-stage project that started in 2016, Ring I is being redirected to run in a 440-metre underground concrete tunnel with a lush green roof on top of it. Other construction projects in addition to the tunnel include the Otasolmo interchange and Keilaniemi ramp bridge, as well as street works in Keilaniementie and other locations. Are’s contract will last until September 2018 and the work will be completed in the summer of 2019.
